Titan Quest 2 Ritual Shrine – how to unlock it and reset points

Titan Quest 2 brings action and adventure back the ancient Greek mythology setting we’ve all missed for so long since the first game. This time, Nemesis – the goddess of retribution – is out of control, corrupting the Threads of Fate. It’s your turn, of course, to take up arms in the RPG game and fight back. But the Titan Quest 2 Ritual Shrine is a key part of this, and that’s why we’ve put together this handy guide.

So, in this guide, we’ll be talking about the Titan Quest 2 Ritual Shrine, how it works, and how to use it to reset attribute points so that you’re not just stuck in that awful character you accidentally made.

Titan Quest 2 Ritual Shrine – how to unlock it, reset attribute points, and features

To unlock the ability to use ritual shrines across the game map, you first need to reach Pyrgos Village. Here, you will be able to interact with a Ritual Shrine, which then unlocks the ability to use all of the Ritual Shrines across the map.

At Ritual Shrines, you can perform the rituals of Athena and the rituals of Ares. Each one allows you to perform and adjust different game functions. These are:

Rituals of Athena

  • Reset attributes – pay money to reset your abilities (warning, this can be a high amount, so really consider your next build)
  • Exit neophyte mode – you can switch from neophyte (easy mode) difficulty to normal difficulty (the default)

Rituals of Ares

  • Adjust difficulty – pay gold to increase enemy levels from +1 to +5
  • Adjust minimum enemy level – pay a large sum of gold to scale enemies to your current level (allows you to grind areas on a higher difficulty for more resources)
  • Respawn enemies – pay a small amount of gold to respawn enemies in the region (helps with grinding for resources)

Ritual Shrine remnant summoning

Some bosses in Titan Quest 2 drop red colored items that are called “Remnants.” If you take these items to a Ritual Shrine, you can activate the summoning function. This means that if you return to the defeated boss’s boss chamber, you will be given the option of paying gold to spawn them again. This allows you to fight them again to obtain better rewards, which is helpful for levelling up to progress to the next areas.

That concludes our Titan Quest 2 Ritual Shrine guide. We hope it helped make your journey through the dangerous lands of mythological Greece at least slightly easier.
